Objective

Infrared Computer Vision is a rapidly emerging field with immense potential and applications across various industries. The Workshop on Infrared Computer Vision at ICPR2024 aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, and enthusiasts to delve into the latest advancements, challenges, and opportunities in this exciting domain. By providing a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration, we hope to accelerate the progress and impact of Infrared Computer Vision.

Infrared image and video processing

This involves techniques for enhancing, restoring, and analyzing infrared imagery, including thermal imaging and near-infrared spectroscopy.

Object detection and tracking

Understanding the state-of-the-art methods for detecting and tracking objects in infrared imagery, including pedestrian detection, vehicle tracking, and anomaly detection.

Infrared imaging for medical applications

Challenge

We are excited to propose two challenging tasks as part of the Workshop. The objectives of these challenges are to encourage participants to develop innovative algorithms, demonstrate their technical expertise, and contribute to the advancement of infrared computer vision. By taking part in these challenges, researchers and practitioners can showcase their skills, gain recognition within the community, and explore the practical applications of infrared imaging. Call for Papers and Publication

We invite high-quality submissions in the form of full papers (8 pages maximum), short papers (4 pages maximum), and extended abstracts (2 pages maximum). Submissions should present original, unpublished work and will be peer-reviewed by experts in the field. Accepted papers will be published in the workshop proceedings, and authors will have the opportunity to present their work orally or as a poster during the workshop.
