A Distinguished scientist with over 30 years of experience, Neeta Kandpal is a renowned expert in the field of Infrared Systems development for industrial and defence applications. Her research expertise spans a wide range of areas, including small target detection and tracking, raw IR image processing, infrared image compression, and infrared imaging systems, among others. With a strong focus on infrared hardware and non-uniformity correction, Neeta has been instrumental in driving innovation in her field.
Throughout her illustrious career, Neeta has been involved in numerous high-priority projects, leveraging her technical expertise to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Currently, she continues to contribute to the advancement of defence electronics as a Scientist ‘G’ at DEAL, DRDO.
Dr Om Prakash Naraniya
Scientist ‘F’, Photonics Division, Instruments Research and Development Establishment (IRDE), Dehradun
Dr. O P Naraniya is a distinguished scientist with a strong background in Solid State Technology, having earned his M.Tech degree from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur. He joined the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) as a Scientist ‘B’ after completing his postgraduate studies. Dr. Naraniya further enhanced his academic credentials by pursuing a PhD from the Department of Physics, IIT Delhi.
Currently, as a Scientist ‘F’ in the Photonics Division of IRDE, Dehradun, Dr. Naraniya is applying his expertise to cutting-edge research in ‘Infrared Scene Simulation and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) testing of advanced airborne sensors’. With his extensive experience and specialized knowledge, Dr. Naraniya continues to contribute significantly to the development of innovative technologies in his field.
Dr Sudhir Kumar
Senior Scientist, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi
Dr. Sudhir Kumar is a distinguished scientist at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, where he has made significant contributions to the field of Plant Physiology. Holding a Master’s degree from CCS University, Meerut, and a PhD from the Postgraduate School of ICAR-IARI, New Delhi, Dr. Kumar has established himself as an expert in Phenotyping and Abiotic Stress, as well as High-Throughput Phenotyping in plants.
A seasoned academic and researcher, Dr. Kumar has guided numerous MSc and PhD students throughout his career, shaping the next generation of scientists. His impressive portfolio boasts 5 patents and over 30 research papers, a testament to his dedication to advancing the field of Plant Physiology.
